How far in advance should I book my wedding flowers?
Typically, you should book your wedding florist 12 - 18 months in advance. If your wedding is on the large side or during peak wedding season (May through October), definitely reach out on the earlier side of that date range to ensure that your wedding date is still available. As a studio florist, I am only able to accept a limited number of wedding commissions each week and would love to hear from you!

How much do wedding flowers cost?
Wedding flowers are an important piece of your wedding budget.  Many wedding budget planners suggest reserving 10-20% of your overall budget to be apportioned to your flowers.  I believe the importance of flowers to you to be a contributing factor.  If having flowers everywhere is really important to you, then you may want to budget higher than that.  Our quotes are custom just for you.  We will work with you to create a beautiful wedding and may have suggestions or ideas to help you get the most "bang for your buck".  Once we have spoken with you on your floral needs and desires, we will provide you your custom quote.

Do you offer centerpiece and decor rentals?
Absolutely! I love creating floral designs for your entire wedding, including bridal party flowers, family flowers, and decor for both the ceremony and the reception. I offer a range of unique centerpiece and decor rentals to my clients, helping you to perfect your wedding vision. These include a range of glass containers, vases and votives.  If you have something particular in mind, I'm always adding to my inventory and I'd love to help you find what you are envisioning.

Do you include delivery and setup?
Yes! Depending on the schedule of your wedding day, I can offer delivery of your bridal party and family flowers, along with set up of all of your decor pieces at the ceremony and reception venues. Fees are determined based on where your venue is located and the intensity of the install needed. We can also arrange for pick up from my studio at no charge.

What locations do you service?
Designs With Love provides wedding and event flowers throughout northwest Ohio and surrounding areas, as well as counties in northeast Indiana and southeast Michigan. Deliveries include a flat-rate charged within 15 miles of the studio and locations outside of the area are charged according to distance.

I don't really know what I want for my wedding flowers. How does the process work?
Whether you have a lot of specific ideas for your wedding flowers, or none at all, I can help! We start by setting up an initial appointment, in which we'll walk through all of the different areas for which you will need flowers. We'll discuss color palette, texture, shape, along with the overall style and vision you have for your wedding day. I love to take this time to get a feel for your personal style and how you want your wedding to look and feel. From there, I will create a personalized proposal for your review. To book your wedding, I require a non-refundable retainer/deposit along with a signed contract. We can continue to make any changes up until one month prior to your wedding, so as new ideas come along or your guest list changes, we can adjust.

I live out of the area. Can you still meet with me?
Absolutely! I'd like to make the process as easy as possible for you.  If you live out of the area, we can schedule a meeting via Skype or Facebook video chat if it's more convenient for you. I like to connect with you this way instead of doing everything over email (which we can do, too), as it helps me get a better read on your style and what's really important to you.  I like to make the process as easy as possible for you.
